Hay que escuchar The Czars, hay que leer a John Grant.

John Grant es una de las mejores voces masculinas americanas actualmente y The Czars es aun un grupo poco valorado (aunque en realidad por ahora eso es lo de menos). Es un artista increíble. Cada tema que interpreta esta cargado de un sentimiento y una convicción emocional que sencillamente te descoloca. El mismo escribe e interpreta sus canciones.
Ha colaborado recientemente en uno de los temas del ultimo álbum de Piano Magic, Disaffected a pedido expreso de Glen Johnson, quien afirma que escribió el tema Your Gosth para ser interpretada por John Grant al considerar su insuficiencia: “Sabía que John podría, tiene una voz increíble. John entra en el estudio, se bebe un café y te hace llorar… no mucha gente se interesa por ellos (The Czars), como no hay gente que se interese por Piano Magic, y es una pena porque él es un artista increíble, tiene algo en su alma, yo no... yo estoy muerto, soy frío. No, en serio, tiene sentimiento en su voz, y es lo importante”.

Paint the Moon, del álbum Goodbye es por ahora la canción más hermosa que he escuchado.
